My Opinion
The sign when you enter Seneca Falls, NY.
I believe that the Seneca Falls convention did create the women’s rights movement. The convention was well planned, organized, and laid the foundation on how to have future rallies and events. The convention encouraged equality with speeches, some of which were about women’s suffrage. This continued to be a main part of the movement until women gained the right to vote in 1920. The Seneca Falls Convention also produced one of the most influential women of the movement, Elizabeth Stanton. Without the platform of the convention, Stanton would not have been able to reach hundreds of men and women and start the passion for women’s rights.
